Configuration

Note: This feature deprecates the AutoConfig feature as it replaces its functionalities and adds more.

The Insight Mobile app comes with a default configuration to provide you with a fast integration but also offers extensive configuration capabilities.

You can configure Insight Mobile by creating a configuration file in the Configurations section of the Insight Webportal online tool.
Define the desired Connectivity Settings, Device Settings, Zero-touch Firmware Update, Symbology Settings, and Workflow Rules in your configuration file, download it, and push to to your Android devices. Control the configurations using SDK or Intent API level functions.

Besides Insight Mobile, the Insight Webportal's configuration tool allows you to customize your scanner's behavior according to specific use cases by defining multiple profiles in a single configuration.
